As the second quarter of 2024 comes to a close, Sensor Tower has compiled data on the leading Dining and Restaurants applications on the iOS platform. The performance of these applications provides valuable insights into user engagement and market trends.
McDonald’s - Non-US experienced a fluctuating download pattern, starting the quarter with approximately 7.6K downloads and seeing a dip to around 1.5K before rebounding to nearly 8.5K. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, dropping from 36.7K to around 24.7K, and then climbing back up to 44.4K in early June.
Subway - UK & I showed an initial spike in downloads, reaching over 6K before descending to just under 2K towards the end of the quarter. Weekly active users for Subway started at roughly 2.1K, peaked at 3.3K, and then slightly decreased to 2.6K.
Starbucks Ireland saw downloads peak at 3.2K in mid-April, subsequently falling to a steady range of 500-700 downloads towards June. Unfortunately, data on weekly active users for Starbucks Ireland is not available for this quarter.
